“Hapa means a person of mixed-race heritage who identifies racially and culturally as both white and of Asian descent. The Client is a couple between Asian (wife) and western (husband). So I identify that the restaurant name is about their relationship that brings me the Interior ideas. I try to mix between industrial theme to represent western as a general ambiance and combining it with a little bit Asian culture furniture and graphic as an accent to reflecting the ambiance concept of Hapa Kitchen. The Project starting design in November 2019 and finished construction in July 2020. It’s a little bit slow progress due to COVID 19 situation in March 2020.
